Business & Athletic Background
After getting his Electronic Engineering B.S. degree in China, he came to the University of Houston to pursue a degree in Computer Science.
Ben is a USBA certified badminton coach and umpire who has been coaching badminton since 2001 as a hobby for kids. Between 2002 and 2005, Ben was an elite badminton coach at Fonde Badminton Club.
Ben is one of the founders of the Southern Asian Association of Badminton, a non-profit organization that hosts badminton tournaments in the South Region.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Ben is the President of Twin Tigers Sports LLC, and he is responsible for making executive decisions regarding the direction of the business. He oversees all business operations, approves the design of all training programs, sets quality requirements, assists the head coach with recruiting qualified coaches, and provides assistance with training at the beginning stages.

Serena Yang has been passionately training under the guidance of her father, Coach Ben, since her pre-teen years.
Over the past 6 years, she has garnered numerous awards in local, regional，and national championships, establishing herself as a skilled and determined athlete, a role model to the juniors in the Twin Tigers Badminton Academy.
In 2023, Serena began assisting her father in coaching beginners, sharing her expertise and fostering a love for the sport in the next generation of players. Her dedication both on and off the court highlight her bright future as a leader in the badminton community.
